Dates – With the rescheduling of the Tokyo Olympic Games to July 23-Aug. 8, 2021 (pool swimming, July 24-Aug. 1), USA Swimming has been working with many entities (National Team Steering Committee, USOPC, Omaha, NBC, FINA, etc.) to determine the best dates possible for the 2020 Olympic Trials (in 2021). Swim Trials return to Omaha for the fourth time! Watch as swimming superstars compete where every stroke, dive and victory leads them closer to the 2021 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Away from the pool, feel like part of the action in the 100,000 square-foot USA Swimming Aqua Zone.

The 2020 Olympic Trials will now be taking place June 18–27, 2021. Ticket account holders will have their tickets automatically rolled over (i.e. same seats, same days of competition, etc.) to the new dates in 2021. Those customers who had preferred to receive a refund for their tickets were able to request a refund between April 22, 2020 and July 20, 2020.

Tickets will be going back on sale for the Olympic Trials at some point, but a date has not yet been established. We look forward to updating you once a ticket sales date has been set!

New dates for the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials — Track & Field are set, USATF announced. The event will take place June 18–27, 2021 in Eugene, Oregon.

The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games were postponed due to the novel coronavirus, thereby necessitating the postponement of the corresponding Olympic Trials. USATF worked closely with the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee and TrackTown USA to secure the new dates.

The competition schedule will remain much the same. While there is a possibility that some of the timings of the competition windows may shift, the events taking place on each day will not change. The schedule of events can be found here.

Existing ticket customers will have their tickets automatically rolled over to the new dates in 2021.

The Olympic Trials will be contested in a new, state-of-the-art Hayward Field at the University of Oregon.

The 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Track & Field will be presented across NBC Sports’ numerous platforms. Broadcast information will be released later.
