The Shift - CHISD High School Choice Options Parent Meeting Video. The P-TECH and Early College High Schools/Collegiate Academies are designed to serve incoming ninth grade students who have the determination to attend college, are first-generation college students, and have been historically underrepresented in higher education. Each school will accept 125 ninth grade students per year.

MCA will be holding a special early registration and informational event for incoming 9th grade students only on Monday, June 27 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Families will have an opportunity to complete the MCA student registration process ahead of the general student population, sign up for sports, clubs and electives, register for MCA email accounts, meet teachers and much more.
